4:30 a.m.
I'm awake
It's that damn bird again...and then there's Tim's snoring.
I'm half asleep as I wonder to the window...open it...make a loud clap (in an attempt to scare the bird away!)
...and I'm still awake!
holy cow, it's getting light outside already. the sun is coming up at 4:30 a.m.!? what planet am I on.
Oh well.
Pictures... I should take pictures. the light will be beautiful as the sky is perfectly clear...a sliver of moon is still up and there are a couple of stars in the sky.
I sneak out of bed, walk down the hall, try and not wake Tim, slip on the jeans that were lying on the floor of my closet, shoes...where are my slip ons, t shirt, sweater...no...sweatshirt, it's kind of chilly...stumble...a bit more...it's darker inside than out!
Camera...where's my camera? tri-pod...nope, keys to my car, that holds my trip pod are in the bedroom where Tim is and...oh well, I don't really need the tri-pod.
Down the stairs (damn these stairs are noisy), pick up the keys, out my backdoor, down the stairs and out into the cold morning air....or should I say cool morning air.
I love the morning....cool, fresh, new. I walk through the neighborhood. the birds...very loud birds are all singing but other than that it's quiet.
I walk to the town center and it is quiet. I walk...down the center of the street...snap a few photos of the church spires and enjoy the morning light.
It's weird, I make note that my jeans are too long, the diet I'm on has made them fall down on my hips and I can feel the pant legs dragging the ground. it's mildly comforting...for some weird reason.
A fox runs out from the bushes and I wipe my bleary eyes makeing sure that I have in fact seen a red fox just 15 short minutes from downtown Boston.
I spend 1.5 hours wondering around in the morning light...just me...my camera...a few cars...a few more cars....and the world wakes up as well. I love this part of life.
Life is peaceful... not often quiet but certainly peaceful. The pic on my blogs home page is from the town center...at 4:30 a.m.
enjoy.....
